Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team at a highly successful furniture manufacturing company based in East London. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality upholstered seating and bespoke wall panels and leather flooring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating patterns for furniture and banquette seating
  • Upholstering all types of furniture and seating
  • Creating detailed chesterfield pleating, ribbing, sprung and webbed seating
  • Working with both fabrics and leather
  • Reading and understanding architectural drawings
  • Quality controlling each project throughout the manufacturing process
  • Working in a team and independently to a high standard

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience as an Upholsterer
  • Upholstery machining skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
