About the Role

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in General Psychiatry to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing medical support to our mental health team, working under the supervision of a senior psychiatrist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within both inpatient and outpatient settings, across the whole range of mental health services within the Trust.
  • Work closely with a large multi-disciplinary team managing secondary care patients with mental illness.
  • Provide medical support to the mental health team, working under the supervision of a senior psychiatrist.
  • Be prepared to perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances without additional remuneration, but may be granted time off in lieu at the discretion of the Trust.
