Conservation Education and Engagement Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Conservation Education and Engagement Lecturer to join our Department of Animal Science team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality, innovative teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge in one or more aspects of the social sciences, such as education, anthropology, anthrozoology, psychology, or sociology, with an interest in conservation and the natural world. The Department of Animal Science works closely with different sectors of the animal industry, including livestock production, zoo and wildlife conservation, and pet behavior.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, assess, support, and evaluate learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct qualitative academic research and contribute to the development of new courses and programs.
- Play a vital role in our commitment to widening participation and recruiting students from all backgrounds.
