Job Title: Senior Production Engineer

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Engineer to work on innovative projects in the engineering and automotive sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on CNC programming, new part introduction, and manufacturing routings using Siemens NX and Vericut.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce CNC programs for 4 & 5 axis machines and multi-axis turn-mills.
  • Develop CNC grinding programs for various grinding machines.
  • Manage new part introduction for prototype and production projects.
  • Create and define manufacturing routings and Bill of Materials using SAP ERP.
  • Design fixtures and tooling for NPI projects.
  • Assist with departmental training and progression programs.
  • Estimate production times and associated costs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction within manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure health, safety, environmental, and energy considerations are met in all activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in machining and programming complex components, ideally within the automotive or aerospace industry.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
  • Thorough understanding of machining, cutting, and inspection techniques.
