Quality Engineer Role Summary

Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting a Quality Engineer to join our client, a UK leader in the manufacturing of composites for various sectors, including automotive, transportation, and medical. As part of the Quality Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of the Company's Quality Management Systems & Processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements during manufacture.
  • Resolve external and internal concerns promptly using continuous improvement methodology (PDCA/8D).
  • Make informed decisions regarding line stoppages due to quality problems.
  • Conduct dimensional evaluation of products to ensure compliance with agreed CAD & Drawing data.
  • Control Sample Approval of new Product, including compiling of PPAP & FAI documentation.
  • Perform internal and external quality audits to identify areas for improvement within the business and suppliers.
  • Create process flow diagrams / quality plans for new products, including developing programs for new product, patrol, in-process, and final release inspection routines.

Requirements:
  • Autonomy to take ownership of systems, products, and processes.
  • Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues on quality related issues.
  • Competitive salary negotiable on experience (£30 - 40k range).
