Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist

CSH Surrey is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the Urgent Community Response (UCR) team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations, including those with multi-pathologies.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to prevent acute hospital admissions and support complex hospital discharges.
  • Communicate complex information to patients, carers, and staff, including imparting sensitive news and gaining consent for treatment.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with the Physiotherapy Team Lead and other multidisciplinary Team Leads.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards and CSH Surrey policies.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in the NHS.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of client groups, including community, rehabilitation, hospital, neurology, elderly, oncology, and orthopaedics.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities and maintain a portfolio of evidence to ensure professional competence.
