Advanced Neuro OT Role

The Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to fill an Advanced Neuro OT Role. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, assessing, treating, and managing patients with complex neuro-oncology and neurosciences needs.

As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for leading on advanced assessment, treatment, and management of patients across our elective and general surgery wards. You will also be expected to develop and support Occupational Therapists within the wider Surgery team.

We offer a salary range of £45,692 - £64,609 per annum, along with opportunities for quality improvement and audit projects, and a robust teaching and training program. If you are a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities
  • Advanced assessment, treatment, and management of patients with Occupational Therapy needs across our elective and general surgery wards.
  • Development and support of Occupational Therapists within the wider Surgery team.
Requirements

Qualifications
  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered with Health Professions Council.
  • Documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Experience
  • Post-registration experience working in an acute hospital setting.
  • Experience as a senior Occupational Therapist.
  • Post-registration experience in relevant clinical settings.
