About the Role:

Sephora is seeking a skilled Beauty Advisor to join our team. As a Beauty Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional makeup and skincare services to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Services Skills: Demonstrate expertise in skincare and makeup application techniques, including foundation matching, contouring, and eye makeup.
  • Customer Assistance: Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products available at Sephora.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all products and tools are sanitized and readily available.
  • Sales and Goals: Proactively engage customers to drive sales and meet store sales targets.
  • Brand Representation: Embody the Sephora brand values and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Operations: Assist at the cash desk and support in deliveries and maintain efficient replenishment processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment or beauty industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of skincare and makeup products, brands, and application techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively and build relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
  • Passion for the beauty industry, staying updated with the latest trends and product launches.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize client needs.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices in relation to beauty products and tools.
  • Qualifications in beauty therapy or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
