We are seeking an exceptional Operational Excellence Leader to join our team at The Sterling Choice. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on our company dedicated to quality, safety, and continual improvement.

As an Operational Excellence Leader, you will oversee a safe, efficient production process, aligning with all health, safety, and quality standards. You will drive quality and food safety practices, ensuring both company and customer standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a fast-paced packing environment, strong people management skills, and proficiency in SAP. They will also possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you're a motivated, results-oriented leader with a knack for optimising processes, we encourage you to apply.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee a safe, efficient production process, aligning with all health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Quality & Compliance: Drive quality and food safety practices, ensuring both company and customer standards are met.
  • Team Development: Coach, develop, and motivate your team to foster a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • KPI Management: Set, monitor, and exceed operational KPIs to ensure the team consistently meets goals and seeks improvements.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage labour, materials, and equipment efficiently to meet both immediate and long-term production targets.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Build strong cross-functional relationships, ensuring smooth communication and collaborative problem-solving.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Food Manufacturing / Drinks / FMCG fast-paced packing environment.
  • Strong people management skills, with a background in building cohesive, high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experience with operational data, with a commitment to achieving KPIs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing or similar sector is highly advantageous.
