Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Tramper to join our team. As a Class 1 Tramper, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided or flatbed trailer, ensuring load security using ratchet straps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver customers' products on a curtain-sided or flatbed trailer
  • Use a handheld PDA to complete paperwork
  • Plan routes on a day-to-day basis
  • Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and manage customers' expectations
  • Attend regular training sessions

Requirements:

  • Must be able to have regular nights away from home
  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
