Financial Accountant

KCR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Planning and Compliance: Plan and ensure compliance with statutory returns and accounting regulations.
- VAT and Tax Management: Manage VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D, and intragroup trading.
- Financial Reporting: Support the review and publication of annual reports and policies.
- Financial Analysis: Consolidate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow statement.
- Group Cashflow Management: Consolidate group cashflow forecasts, perform net working capital reviews, and analysis.
- Financial Support: Support the group with objectives, including investments, budgeting, and expenditure.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Report balance sheet trends and analysis, and perform quarterly reviews with stakeholders.
- Internal Controls: Ensure documentation is in place over internal controls and assist with the collation of SAO return documentation.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance within banking or funding covenants and ensure they are part of the budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Cashflow Management: Oversight of invoice financing month-end reconciliations.
- Audit Support: Review reconciliations ahead of submission and forecast the cashflow impact.
- Interim and Year-End Audit: Support on interim and year-end audit preparation to ensure a clean audit.
- Commercial Reporting: Work with the commercial team and their monthly reporting packs.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Involvement in budgeting and forecasting activities, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash projections.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement in the business.
You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with at least one year of experience in an accountancy practice or industry post-qualification. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop and grow within a fast-paced, growing business.
