About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at TRS Consulting (UK) Ltd. As a Medical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems used in pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration of medical laboratory diagnostics systems
  • Support haematology, clinical chemistry, and laboratory automation systems located at hospital sites throughout the South East
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Competent background in electronic or electro-mechanical service engineering
  • Experience in high-value capital equipment environment
  • Qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
