We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Coordinator to join our community benefits team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for visiting customers in their homes, providing benefit advice, and undertaking benefit checks.
Key Responsibilities:- Visit customers in their homes to provide benefit advice and undertake benefit checks
- Work in a hybrid environment, both from home and in our Ealing offices
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of local government finance, Department for Work and Pensions legislation, and financial administration
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Manage high-volume workloads, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience of working in a team, using own initiative to undertake day-to-day tasks
- Comprehensive knowledge of local government finance, Department for Work and Pensions legislation, and financial administration
- Ability to communicate effectively, in person, in writing, and on the telephone
