Job Description

As a senior accounts professional, you will be responsible for producing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will use accounting software like IRIS to prepare these statements accurately and efficiently.

You will also assist with corporation and personal tax returns, audits, and other accountancy duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a practice environment, preferably with at least three years of experience. Some audit experience would be beneficial but not necessary.

The company offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers 4% employer pension contribution and 28 days annual holiday, increasing to five weeks after three continuous years of service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ideally, you should be qualified or part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or exceptional candidates can be considered based on their experience.
  • Previous experience in a practice environment, preferably with at least three years of experience.
  • Audit experience would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software like Sage and Xero.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
