Overview

NielsenIQ, a leading consumer intelligence company, is seeking a Strategic Market Insights Director to join our team.

This role will play a key part in helping us deliver the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.

We are looking for a self-starter who can accept challenges and create solutions in an exciting work environment that brings people together.

Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year (estimated based on location and industry standards).

Job Description

As a Strategic Market Insights Director, you will be responsible for delivering fact-based answers to complex business questions, becoming a market expert in one or more categories/industry segments, and driving insightful presentations and actionable recommendations to clients.

You will also coordinate client services cross-countries and categories, onboard clients on gfknewron platform, drive adoption of the platform within client organizations, collect and provide feedback to product teams on functionality and features, and identify leads for cross-sell and upsell opportunities with clients.

Additionally, you will collaborate with account management at pre-sales and renewal stages, coordinate internal client services nationally and internationally, and validate/conduct QC to guarantee the GfK seal of quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstratable interest in Home Improvement and/or automotive categories and markets.
  • A strong business understanding in durable consumer goods markets and related Retail.
  • Ideal 3 years of experience in consulting, market research, product management of durables or equivalent business units.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Very strong presentation and communication skills - a client-centric approach.
  • Proactive and consistent engagement with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Coordination and decision-making of how to achieve client outcomes and organization goals.
  • Driving delivery of results for clients & NielsenIQ across diverse cultures, mindsets, disciplines, and influences.
