About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our First Point of Contact Centre, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage mental health referrals, ensuring timely and effective support for service users.
  • Work collaboratively with senior colleagues to direct referrals to the most appropriate services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including GPs, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of our mental health services, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive improvement.
Requirements
  • Registration to a professional body, with post-qualification experience in mental health.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Strong clinical ability to engage service users and carers, with a good understanding of the range of services offered within the Trust.
