At Hunter Savage, we are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technical Lead to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership position and contribute to the success of our operations.

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and optimization of electromechanical control systems at our Biomethane upgrading facility and across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small engineering team, fostering a multi-skilled culture to achieve world-class manufacturing standards. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, performing maintenance across multiple sites, training and developing a technical team, and generating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Engineering Work Instructions (EWIs).

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a production/manufacturing environment. You should be multi-skilled in electromechanical engineering with a strong electrical bias, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should have proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to read and interpret engineering schematics.

Salary & Benefits

This is a full-time permanent position offering a highly competitive salary package based on experience, including a £75,000 - £90,000 per annum salary range, plus benefits such as remote and site access responsibilities, an on-call rotation, and opportunities for career development.
