Role Overview

The Public Sector Audit School Leaver Programme at Grant Thornton LLP offers a unique opportunity for individuals without a degree to embark on a five-year apprenticeship journey leading to a professional qualification. This programme is designed to provide hands-on experience, skills development, and career growth in the field of public sector audit.

As an auditor in our Public Sector team, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with public bodies, government departments, and national services to understand their issues and provide assurance over their use of resources and financial accounts.
  • Developing a strong internal and external network to learn from and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Contributing to the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, ensuring they receive robust challenge and market-leading insights.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a range of benefits, including:
