Student Success Specialist

We are seeking a Student Success Specialist to join our team at MidKent College. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.
Main Responsibilities:
- Teach essential skills to students preparing for employment or higher education, focusing on target setting and personal development.
- Deliver engaging group tutorials covering safeguarding, relationships, employability, sustainability, and health and wellbeing.
- Maintain excellent communication with students, staff, and parents/careers using ProMonitor and other means.
- Conduct one-to-one sessions to review progress, address welfare concerns, and provide guidance on career goals.
- Liaise with the safeguarding team and wider college support services to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitor student progress, supporting academic performance, soft skills development, and UCAS applications.
- Liaise with internal departments and participate in college marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Completion of mandatory annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
- Able to travel between sites as required.
- Evening and weekend work may be necessary.
- Compliance with legislation and college policies regarding safeguarding, Health & Safety, and GDPR.
Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
