Job Overview

Bowen Eldridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in mitigating risks and maximising profits by ensuring credit issued by the company is paid in full and on time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control, with experience in managing debt recovery and cash flow. You will be responsible for analysing credit risk, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to reduce bad debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer credit accounts
  • Monitor and analyse credit risk, identifying potential issues and implementing strategies to mitigate them
  • Develop and implement effective debt recovery plans to ensure timely payment from customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure credit limits are set appropriately and customers are aware of payment terms
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on credit performance and trends

  • Proven experience in credit control and debt recovery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
