Product Development Role

KPI Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to drive the design, development, and manufacturing of new and existing products in the consumer goods sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new product ranges and product refreshes from concept to manufacturing.
  • Develop detailed product specifications, including hardware designs, prototypes, and embedded software.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure precise briefings and timely delivery of products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying new suppliers for specific project needs.
  • Conduct product feasibility studies and provide calculations for capital projects, ensuring all designs meet project goals and budget constraints.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with various manufacturing techniques and a deep understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience in plastic injection molding and other relevant manufacturing processes.
