Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at EDF Renewables, a rapidly growing company with a unique mix of technologies including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, and generator of renewable energy. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our goal of generating a massive 10GW of renewable energy by 2035. We're working closely with stakeholders and communities throughout the UK and Ireland to achieve this ambitious target.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, collaborating to drive innovation and excellence in the renewable energy sector. Our salary range for this position is estimated to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. Our Flexible First approach enables you to balance work and life effectively, with our offices serving as your base location.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
This role requires a strong understanding of health and safety principles, regulations, and best practices. Key responsibilities include:
  • • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures• Conducting regular site visits to monitor safety protocols and provide guidance• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks• Providing training and support to team members on health and safety procedures

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and possess a strong background in health and safety management. Experience in managing health and safety functions in an industrial setting is highly desirable.
