Havas Health Network seeks an experienced Medical Communications Leader to drive excellence in medical affairs through clear project leadership, strategic input, and client relationships.

As a key member of our team, you will lead client and project meetings, establish strong relationships with clients, and advise on new developments in therapy areas.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing client activity programmes, leading project delivery, and motivating account teams to achieve their full potential.

  • Provide clear project leadership and ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of client projects.
  • Lead client relationships and provide strategic input on new developments in therapy areas.
  • Champion high-quality account-handling skills and oversee financial management of accounts.
  • Exemplify excellent communication and business skills both internally and externally.
  • Establish and reinforce relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for developing and finalizing client activity programmes.
  • Lead the successful delivery of projects through effective resource management.
  • Lead and motivate account teams to fulfill their potential.
  • Makes recommendations on project resourcing and staffing requirements.
  • Proactively sell agency services and create opportunities for growing business within existing accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and updates within therapy areas and areas of expertise.
  • Partner with other Havas Health network providers to secure larger business wins.
  • Direct and support the account team to develop and reconcile project budgets.
  • Evaluate the development of direct reports by having regular review meetings and providing effective coaching.

The ideal candidate will bring strong medical communications experience, ideally with business development experience in winning and developing organic new business.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Key Requirements:

  • Medical Communications Experience: Strong experience in supporting medical affairs and medical education projects for pharmaceutical companies.
  • Business Development Experience: Ideally, experience in business development in both winning and developing organic new business.
