About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, or Trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children to have the best quality of life possible, including activities such as baking, fun days out, and holidays.
  • Ensure the children's safety and well-being by monitoring their development and keeping records up to date.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues to provide a seamless support service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A driving license to transport children to appointments and activities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins, to provide 24-hour care and support.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in residential childcare.
