Teaching Assistant with SEND Experience

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to join our team at Career Teachers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND in mainstream and special schools.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic and personal development of all students.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEND students is essential.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent, are desirable.
- Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- Flexible working opportunities to suit your availability.
