Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Technician to join our team at Willis Global Ltd. As a Depot Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination, preparation, maintenance, and repair of specialist medical devices/equipment, between rental events originating in a variety of care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decontamination and Preparation: Decontaminate medical devices to a high standard following company procedures, ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform quality control checks and repairs on medical devices, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and prioritize available stock to meet business needs and demands, ensuring all stock and spare parts are always accounted for.
  • Record Keeping: Record all activities using manual and IT systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Quality Assurance: Conform to all company ISO procedures and highlight any compliance issues to the line supervisor.
  • Customer Support: Use company systems to maintain up-to-date customer records and support field-based activities when required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Skills: An awareness of health and safety in a technical environment, with manual handling requirements, ability to communicate effectively with customers and work colleagues, and good IT skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of UDI/barcoding and other traceability systems an advantage.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £24K - £25K
  • Full-time Permanent Role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:30
