Nursery Director Position
Blom and Blom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Director to lead our private children's day nursery in Colchester. The successful candidate will possess strong management and leadership abilities, as well as a thorough understanding of Ofsted standards and the EYFS framework.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of nursery management experience and will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the nursery's strategic plan
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Supporting and promoting the provision of exceptional childcare services
- Providing guidance and development opportunities for staff
- Liaising with local authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- A minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare, such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE, or a recognized equivalent
- A minimum of 18 months of nursery management experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulations
- A comprehensive understanding of Ofsted standards and requirements
- The ability to prioritize tasks and achieve outcomes
