About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Assist our chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow all necessary guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy food service.
  • Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to create memorable experiences for our residents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be able to deliver an excellent service at each meal, make our residents feel at home, and maintain high standards in and around the home.
