About the Role

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead a team focused on enhancing the University's research infrastructure and advancing activities aligned with the University's Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to improve University research infrastructure and facilities, including high-risk teaching spaces.
  • Develop and implement operational, safety, and administrative policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Colleges, Central Analytical Facilities, and the BioResearch Facility to support long-term facility planning, maintenance, and resource management.
  • Ensure the University's research spaces and work practices meet legislative requirements, including WHS and University policies.
  • Coordinate and deliver complex projects within a university or other multi-faceted organisation.
Requirements
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through the production of high-quality briefing materials and impactful presentations.
  • Experience in overseeing, directing, and coordinating the development and implementation of operational, safety, and administrative policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Capacity to shape the future, engage beyond the University, collaborate effectively, strive for excellence, drive performance, and demonstrate courage and respect.
