About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Truck Driver to join our team in Dartford. As a key member of our janitorial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our client's warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks to move goods and materials around the warehouse
- Empty and clean waste receptacles and ensure the yard area is safe and well-maintained
- Use cleaning equipment and machinery to keep the warehouse clean and tidy
- Work collaboratively with the waste removal team to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and legislation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
