Clinical Lead - Care Home

Location: Christchurch, Dorset

Salary: £50,000 per year

Contract: Permanent

Shift: Days

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to oversee the clinical operations of a well-established care home in Christchurch. You will work closely with nursing and care teams to maintain the highest standards of clinical care and governance, ensuring residents receive excellent care that meets their individual needs.

Reports to: Home Manager

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the nursing team and ensure clinical excellence across the home.
  2. Collaborate with care and nursing teams to provide the highest level of care for residents.
  3. Mentor, train, and support staff in maintaining and promoting best nursing practices.
  4. Foster a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
  5. Ensure compliance with audits, safeguarding, DoLS, CQC, and other regulatory requirements.
Skills and Attributes
  1. Strong clinical skills and experience in leading a nursing team.
  2. Passion for promoting best practices in nursing and developing others.
  3. Knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DoLS, CQC, and compliance.
Education and Qualification

NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
