We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at East of England Ambulance Service. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within the required timeframes.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and inspections, to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Participate in a rota for 24-hour service and repair callouts, working outside of normal hours as required.
- Carry out MOT inspections and repairs as required, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
- Driving Licence with C1/D1 categories, with significant experience of driving vehicles larger than a family saloon car.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of safety practices and techniques in motor vehicle repair.
- Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and software, with the ability to interpret diagnostic data and make informed repair decisions.
