Thomson Recruitment Independent Partnerships is delighted to be working with a leading mid-tier accounting firm that specializes in Audit, Tax, and Advisory services and are searching for an Associate Director based out of their Birmingham offices.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Tax Associate Director to join our team. As a key member of our Tax Team, you will be responsible for advising a range of clients on R&D Tax relief, Patent Box Tax, and transaction and restructuring concerns among other generalist advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding the clients' issues and anticipating their needs whilst also helping them to manage their risk.
- Negotiating and raising fees and being responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients.
- Being an active member of and developing the wider Tax Team, ensuring national procedures are rolled out and fully adopted in Birmingham.
Requirements
- Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual corporation tax reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience in R&D Tax relief, Transaction Tax, Patent Box, or Restructuring.
- Broad experience of managing the financials on clients, delivering on budgets and negotiating fees with clients, and bringing on board new clients.
