Job Description

The IT Server Administrator will be based in London and report to the local Infrastructure Team Leader. This role requires hands-on and multi-tasking skills, including installation, upgrades, configuration, administration, and maintenance of mostly Windows server-based systems.

  • Manage local and remote office projects from beginning to end
  • Maintain bespoke application environments for Trading application infrastructure; upgrade, patch, provision
  • Vendor management, providers & other internal business teams
  • Cover working hours between 8am - 6pm, Expect duty to expand beyond normal business hours, including some weekends
  • BAU 3rd line support & occasional 1st & 2nd level support escalation
  • May be required to travel to remote office locations

Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. A Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or related active IT certifications is preferred. Proficiency in Windows Server Administration (Windows 2016 and above), VMware ESXi and vCenter administration, and Veeam backup technologies is required.
