Dunbar Education is seeking a passionate and dynamic History teacher with the ability to inspire and engage young minds. About the Role:

You will be responsible for teaching engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at A Level if desired. You will inspire students with a love of history, fostering critical thinking and curiosity while supporting their academic and personal growth.

This is a permanent, full-time position where you will have the opportunity to shape young minds, develop your teaching skills, and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking department. The estimated salary for this role is around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in History or a related subject.
  • A passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
  • Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and 4 (A Level experience is a plus).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to professional development.
