Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join our team at Essentra PLC. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) project and our internal Data Migration team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data migrations and automate data enrichment tasks.
  • Extract, transform, and load data to facilitate successful go live.
  • Troubleshoot and debug data and system issues.
  • Analyse and enhance system performance related to data migration activities.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other data professionals to ensure data quality and troubleshoot data integration issues.
Requirements:
  • Batchelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, data modelling and data management.
