About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Forensic Nurse to join our team as a Health Care Practitioner (HCP). As a Forensic Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in police custody, while also contributing to the development of our team and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in police custody, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries, and refer individuals to specialist services as needed.
  • Conduct forensic examinations of individuals in police custody, recording and documenting any injuries or evidence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and law enforcement agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals in police custody.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in forensic nursing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' minimum experience as a registered nurse.
  • Experience in forensic nursing or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
