About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Senploy. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism and ADHD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-to-one with students with SEN needs, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs.
- Assist with the development of social skills and positive behaviour in a classroom setting.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students, contributing to assessments and reviews.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working one-to-one with students with SEN needs, particularly Autism and ADHD.
- Strong academic background.
- Minimum of 1 year working in a UK school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Must be willing to undergo compliance checks.
