Travel Agent Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Agent to join our team at Blue Wave Travel. As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for booking exceptional trips for corporate and leisure clients to various destinations around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with clients pre- and post-travel to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Listen to clients' needs and find the best available options for them, including airline, hotel, car rental, cruises, and event/ticket sales.
  • Make all necessary travel arrangements and keep clients up-to-date on any changes or travel requirements.
  • Promptly respond to clients' inquiries and handle any issues that may arise during the booking and/or travel process.
Requirements:
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently with the support of your team.
  • Develop strong time management and organization skills to effectively manage multiple clients and travel arrangements.
  • Be comfortable working with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and computers with internet access.
  • Personal travel experiences are a plus, but not required.
