About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician / Design Engineer to join our team at Find Apprenticeships. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and refining 3D CAD models using Solidworks and rendering conceptual images. You will also work closely with cross-functional departments, including Quality, Sales, and Marketing, to drive product performance and ensure our solutions meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and refine 3D CAD models using Solidworks.
  • Collaborate with NPD, Production, and Technical Service teams.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with failure mode analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years post graduate experience as a CAD Technician / Design Engineer or be a graduate with solid proactive experience. They will also have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. In addition, they will have graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Acrobat Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Keyshot or equivalent rendering software.

What We Offer:
  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic DOE + Pension + 25 days annual leave (plus BH 33 days total) + Discounts on Company Products + Free onsite parking.
