Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide comprehensive HR support to the Department of Haematology and Stem Cells Institute professional services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, and performance management.
- Assist with the coordination of HR processes, including payroll, compliance, and occupational health.
- Communicate effectively with academic, research, and professional staff, as well as visitors, to provide a proactive and responsive service.
- Work collaboratively with key university services to ensure all processes are followed and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Manage confidential information and maintain a high level of discretion.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of HR initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an HR area, preferably in a university setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Education to HND/HNC level or equivalent level of practical experience.
