Ultrasonic Technician - Rotherham

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Ultrasonic Technician to join our team in Rotherham. As an Ultrasonic Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of aerospace components.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections using immersion ultrasonic equipment and techniques. You will also be responsible for validating and maintaining laboratory equipment, setting up and calibrating equipment, performing tests, interpreting and evaluating results, and documenting and reporting on your findings.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need experience working within an engineering and/or laboratory environment. A Level 2 qualification in Ultrasonic inspection, preferably with experience in Immersion Inspection, is required. Additionally, you should have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
