We are looking for a dedicated Child Protection Professional to join our team within the Social Care industry.

Job Description:

This challenging role requires a skilled professional to work closely with children, families, and other stakeholders to promote safe and supportive environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate report writing skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Public Law Outline (PLO) to stay up-to-date on child protection policies and procedures.
  • Attend Child Protection meetings, Case Conferences, and Looked After Children reviews to contribute to informed decision-making.
  • Engage directly with children through utilizing Children In Need plans to foster positive relationships.
  • Publish comprehensive Court Reports that provide critical insights into complex cases.
  • Conduct Section 47 assessments to identify potential risks and develop targeted interventions.
  • Prepare Core Assessments that form the foundation for effective care planning.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of duties.
Requirements:

A minimum of post-qualifying experience working as a Qualified Social Worker in a Children In Need Team within the UK Social Care industry is required.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
