About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyperson to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance support across various sites, delivering a range of tasks from routine planned maintenance to reactive repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine planned maintenance tasks as directed by Site Manager/Supervisor, covering all buildings within the site.
- Operate MEWP, Forklift, and other equipment as required.
- Install and dismantle PASMA/Stair towers, with training provided where necessary.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed satisfactorily and to the expected standard.
- Maintain the care and proper use of building maintenance equipment and tools.
- Support other team members in achieving their goals and objectives.
- Undertake all duties in a safe, tidy, and responsible manner in accordance with H&S requirements.
Person Specification:
- Semi-skilled or experienced background in building work would be advantageous.
- General awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
- Knowledge of the Permit to Work system.
- Ability to undertake training and development as required.
- Undertaken relevant Health and Safety training.
- Valid full driving license.
