Handyperson

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyperson to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance support across various sites, delivering a range of tasks from routine planned maintenance to reactive repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine planned maintenance tasks as directed by Site Manager/Supervisor, covering all buildings within the site.
• Operate MEWP, Forklift, and other equipment as required.
• Install and dismantle PASMA/Stair towers, with training provided where necessary.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed satisfactorily and to the expected standard.
• Maintain the care and proper use of building maintenance equipment and tools.
• Support other team members in achieving their goals and objectives.
• Undertake all duties in a safe, tidy, and responsible manner in accordance with H&S requirements.

Person Specification:

• Semi-skilled or experienced background in building work would be advantageous.
• General awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
• Knowledge of the Permit to Work system.
• Ability to undertake training and development as required.
• Undertaken relevant Health and Safety training.
• Valid full driving license.
