Leukaemia Clinical Nurse Specialist

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless service for patients, families, and carers. Your clinical expertise, leadership skills, and education will be essential in providing specialist nursing advice and support to in-patients, out-patients, and their families throughout the care pathway.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct care and support to children and families with a confirmed leukaemia diagnosis
- Facilitating the provision of a nursing service to the leukaemia patient group
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated quality service is delivered
- Participating in audit and research/trials to improve patient outcomes
