About the Role

As a highly skilled Optometrist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Optical department at Asda Stores Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality eye care services to our customers, including screening, coaching, and training the wider team.
  • Work closely with the Optical Manager to create an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence.
  • Support the development of new patient services and help shape the culture of the department.
  • Use your skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda – funded and supported by us).
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
