About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join our team at a superb primary school in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving attainment and creating engaging lessons for their students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care to children in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor children's progress and report back to parents as necessary.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Ability to commute to Redhill via public transport.
  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
