Company Overview: A leading Corporate Recovery firm is seeking an experienced Insolvency Compliance Solicitor to join its in-house team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the firm's ongoing success by ensuring the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance.

Position Overview: As the Insolvency Compliance Solicitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the firm adheres to all relevant insolvency regulations, providing legal guidance, and supporting the corporate recovery team in handling complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the firm's processes and practices comply with the Insolvency Act, Insolvency Rules, and other relevant legislation.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance issues, including corporate recovery, insolvency procedures, and restructuring matters.
  • Draft, review, and oversee all legal documents, including insolvency appointments, creditor claims, and other related documentation.
  • Identify and assess legal risks associated with insolvency cases and ensure appropriate measures are taken to mitigate them.
  • Keep the firm informed of changes in insolvency law and regulation, ensuring swift implementation of necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and development to internal teams on insolvency compliance, helping them stay informed about legal obligations.
  • Oversee internal audits and investigations to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills: Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in insolvency law and compliance. Strong understanding of insolvency legislation, including the Insolvency Act, Insolvency Rules, and corporate restructuring processes. Proven experience in an in-house legal or compliance role within a corporate recovery or insolvency environment is preferred. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to convey complex legal matters to non-legal stakeholders. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
