Academic Science Instructor

Role Overview:

Anzuk Education Ltd is seeking an experienced Science Teacher to deliver engaging science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4. This short-term assignment provides a great opportunity for teachers looking for a temporary position.

• Teaching Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons, differentiating instruction to meet the needs of their classes.
• Creativity and Engagement: We are looking for a teacher who can make science fun and interactive, fostering student curiosity and enthusiasm.
• Collaboration: The role requires strong collaboration with other department members to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
• Behaviour Management: Adhering to the school's behaviour management system is essential in creating a positive and productive learning environment.

• Qualifications: A UK-recognised Teaching qualification, preferably with QTS, is required for this position.
• Subject Expertise: The ideal candidate will have confidence teaching Science to KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels, ideally with experience in Biology but also considering applications from Science Teachers with expertise in Chemistry and Physics.
• Skillset: Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with being reflective, inquisitive, personable, and able to create engaging lessons.
• NQTs/ECTs Welcome: Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
