We are currently working with a well-established, multi-site food manufacturer who are a large, fast complex site. They are seeking a Shift Manager to join the team on a 2,2,3 days shift pattern.
You will ideally have experience operating in a chilled, high-risk environment, but other product exposures can still be considered. Ideally, you will have managed teams of 30-50 reports. You will need to be able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring food safety and health and safety standards are upheld, bringing a progressive and CI mindset to the shift and finding ways to implement improvements.
As a Shift Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of production staff to achieve production targets
- Ensuring food safety and health and safety standards are upheld
- Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Managing and maintaining production equipment and facilities
- Collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives
